Daily Gratitude

Daily Gratitude: This is just a little one today. And that’s what it’s about. The little things. Can you think about how you rushed about your day yesterday (or maybe even today depending on when you’re reading this)? How often did you stop and actually look around you in detail? It’s one of the reasons I no longer mind being so slow when I walk. I see things around me that either fascinate me or just fill me with the happiness of being around them. It might be beauty if I’m walking in the park or it might be something more modern if I’m walking in a neighborhood (like the cute way a house is decorated or a nice car). It’s simply appreciation for something very small. Do you thank your coffee pot (or tea pot or juice maker)? You might consider it. How much easier is it making your life? Then thank ALL the people that were involved it bringing it to you. Just as all the commercials say “brought to you by….” Fill in your own … after that. It’s fun and it will make you pay attention to the little things in your life that bring you happiness and joy.

I am grateful for all the little things that enable me to write these messages every day!

Feedback From My Book

I have to say the feedback I’ve received on “From Tipping Point to Turning Point” has been heartwarming…and in some cases heartbreaking too.

There are two “topics” in the book – one is about vol state in 2022 and the other is about the effects of things in our lives on our health.

The first topic doesn’t really warrant much feedback. The second, however, does. And it has. It’s just that it’s a really personal kind of feedback that readers obviously don’t want to broadcast to the world.

I am so appreciative of the personal messages you all have sent me even if you don’t want to write anything here.

To know I’ve “reached” some people is what it’s all about for me.
Thank you all so much.

Daily Gratitude

Daily gratitude: This is cute…and very accurate. We all need to remember it, not just kids. But what’s missing here? Maybe it’s later in the “discussion” (I never read Dr Seuss); maybe not. Where’s the heart here? That would make this perfect. For with your brain and your feet and your heart, you can be unstoppable. Mostly because these are all inside of you! You don’t need the opinion of others to propel yourself forward in life. You just need to know what you want to do and why. You can never know if the things others say to you are really true or if they actually mean them so why let them rule your actions. If you feel it in your heart, it’s yours. Your brain can figure out a way to get you there and your feet will take you. Think about what you want to do; feel it in your heart; and let no one stop you after that!

I am grateful that people have reached out to me to thank me for the book and to tell me that it has hit home for them.
