Here’s some thoughts from callers this week. They are not in any particular order but I felt they deserved to be put out there for everyone:
“Motivation usually finds us when we least expect it.”
“Old age is not for sissies” (Thanks Lise)
“It’s the start that stops most people” – More on that in the coming weeks
“Confidence comes in preparation”
“A wave doesn’t crash where it starts”
“99% of success is failure”
Picture yourself a year from now and see how important this one little blip in time is then – puts things in perspective
Ramona noted that adding color coding to your priorities helps in the chunking process
You have a set of gears (like in a car with a stick shift). You can’t go 80 MPH in 1st gear. When you learn and improve some, you up it to 2nd gear, then to 3rd, etc. You need to put in the energy, to strive to get into 5th or 6th gear (thanks Rich Kennedy)
The Brain Dump concept apparently is similar to the 10th step in AA
