Daily Gratitude

Daily Gratitude: I am sure many of you think i write too much about now your thoughts impact and change your life. If so, I am glad you have the ability to scroll on by. For others, though, the more you see it and hear it, the more you’ll believe it and start working on your thoughts. I am living proof of this when you compare the first 35 years of my life to the second 40 years. You have to monitor your thoughts and immediately change them as soon as you realize you’ve been thinking something negative. Make yourself a “thought” jar and whenever you start going down that road put some small fee in the jar (and possibly a note about the things you were thinking). Be honest with yourself. It’s not about what you’re saying but about what you are thinking. Do anything it takes to focus only on the things you want to be or have. Stay within and stop judging. Control what is within your control. This is the first part of changing your life but it’s the most important part.

Daily Gratitude: This idea is behind why I don’t write a lot about chronic pain cures. Many people refuse to believe in the concept since it’s not medication or procedures or something someone else does TO you. It’s something you have to do and your success is not in the hands of others or kept from you by the environment. A person has to really understand and believe in the concept in order to do the work. I am not good at presenting the information well enough so people scoff at the ideas. It’s unfortunate but true. When you find yourself adamantly rejecting something, take a look at why you aren’t buying into it. Could it be that it’s just the way it’s being presented? If that’s possible, search for sites that talk about whatever it is and see if someone else has presented it in a way you can better understand. This checking out other places is an important technique in any aspect of your life.

Daily Gratitude: This is what I realized my view of life has been for many decades. My eyes always had this screen covering them. Seeing through a screen is hard and seeing anything clearly through it is next to impossible. You can do that but you have to adjust your focus. Even trying to take a picture through a chain link fence is not unmarried. The metal chains obscure the view. On a window screen the holes are even smaller and you have to step way back to alter your focus. You have to look beyond the crosshairs. Then your eyes can see more clearly, provided the glass (or screen) is not dirty. As you can see, there are many factors which impact your ability to see clearly. I had to work through the dirty windows, the narrow holes and my screwed up focus (inner past issues) before I could see the beauty of my life. I hope that makes sense. My primary intention was to help you be easy on yourself as you are cleaning your windows.
