Daily Gratitude

Isn’t it funny how this works? When we were younger (and maybe to some degree still) we probably thought some people had all the luck. But then once we got to know more about them, we realized these were extremely hard workers and that luck probably did not have much to do with it. So, the lesson here is to just keep working hard and your “luck” will come. Because it’s not luck. It’s studying and practicing and then learning more and practicing more. Olympic champions aren’t plopped out as babies with all the talent in the world. They have to work and work hard. That’s the key to getting what you want. I recommend the works of Napoleon Hill. If the nearly 2000 books I have he is the one author whose books line more of my shelves than any other. And even at my age I still study him. I just finished a 16 week course on his work. Your “luck” can definitely change.

Daily Gratitude

For some of us (like me) this is a hard task. When you’re not used to feeling things, you can’t just be commanded “feel how good that is” or something similar. But I am learning that if I take time to ponder the beauty around me, I can appreciate that beauty more than ever before. That is great progress for me. How often do you stop to feel the glory around you? I hope at least once a day. Write about these things. Describe them in detail. It will make them come alive. And that will make your energy bubble up and increase your joy and happiness.

Daily Gratitude

Daily Gratitude: Think about all you’ve wanted, all you’ve aimed for, and all you’re still working towards. These things are part of your life. Now think about how you decide on the little things you do each day. Who are you doing them for? What role do they have in your script? If you created a program for your life, who would be the leading lady, leading man and all the other players? Where would you fit in? Would you be the star — or would you be sitting in the back row of the audience wishing it was you up on the stage? Are you even part of the directing staff? What is your role in your life? This is one of the most important questions you can ask yourself.

I am grateful for the nice mornings we’re having and grateful i almost needed a jacket yesterday a.m.
