<p>Daily Gratitude: It’s hard for me to know how to write about this for others. It’s taken me 75 years to learn to trust myself. But I will admit that I do know how to live and what living is. It took all those years to learn how to regulate my nervous system enough that my brain could engage in something other than fear and protection thoughts. Once my nervous system was liberated, the amount of emotions and experiences I was able to process has been quite enjoyable. Trusting yourself as a human being and not as an animal (which is the way one behaves when they have an unregulated nervous system) will allow you to trust yourself and others. Most of you know whether you trust yourself or not. Work on it by yourself if you need to. Or ask others to help. That’s not so easy when you don’t trust others yet but that could be a step towards the trust &#8211; ask for help.</p>
